Job Description

Areas of Responsibilities

  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, strategy, operations and business development of the Indirect Sales channel for Components and Solutions in Danfoss Cooling Segment Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Leadership:

    • Complete responsibility and ownership of strategy, sales and business development in delivering the financial objectives of the IDS channel.

    • Work closely with the sales team, Application Engineer and other functions in DCS Thailand to provide support

    • Work closely with the Country Manager to assist in business functions like Refrigeration, Estimate TO, pipeline & data management in Sales Forecast and other activities as required

    • Responsible for sales generating, sales targets and business development to ensure sustainable growth

    • Establish a sales budget for assigned clients

  • Sales Leadership:

    • Supporting and be a role model in utilization and implementation of sales processes- pipeline, account plans, lead generation, etc.

    • Develop in-depth customer understanding identifying areas Danfoss can bring greatest value within the IDS channel

    • Defining, developing and implementing country growth plans for IDS channel

    • Meet sales targets and continuously grow market shares. Quote negotiate and close sales deals/orders and projects

    • Identify and build strong business relationship with the Tier 2 (contractors) & key influencers

    • Lead strategic customer meetings including quarterly review meetings with partners & key customers

    • Implement the DCS Value Proposition throughout the sales process

    • Contribution to market plan and business development perspectives

    • Develop and maintain an active opportunity pipeline for all accounts allocated

    • Maintaining and developing customer loyalty and satisfaction

    • Active participation in marketing activities (i.e. exhibitions, surveys, etc.)

    • Maintain customer relationships and follow up orders

  • Sales Operations:

    • Proactively support in collecting overdue payments according to payment terms

    • Manage price to the market as per business guidelines

    • Lead the process of rebates approval, it’s set up & disbursement

    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

    • Prepare and review commercial documents including preliminary proposal, full proposal and contract

Key Requirements

  • Good technical & business management skills (qualifications & work experience)

  • Sales related experience in air conditioning and refrigeration market segment

  • Strong customer relationship skills

  • Networking: good network of contacts at the highest level

  • Fluency in English with strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong personal resilience, highly motivated and strong personal drive

  • Performance driven - not afraid to suggest/take initiatives and work independently

  • Ability to work with international teams in a global matrix organization

  • Cooperative and excellent interpersonal skills
